The first steps begin with the old mulch removal before a new drainage system and engineered wood fiber is installed on our playground. With this addition, we will no longer have flooding problems on the playground.
Once the old mulch was removed, we had a drainage system put in. Then the playground was covered with a mesh covering before the new mulch was brought in.
The mulch arrived in a huge semi. They rolled it out onto the street to the amazement of the Green and Red Room children. They were screaming, dancing and hugging each other. The installers have never had such a great audience cheering them on!!
The mulch was then dumped on the playground. With 4 men and 4 wheelbarrows, the mulch was layed throughout the playground.
